4A Games has released a new minor update for Metro Exodus. According to the release notes, the June 19th patch fixes the freezing issues that players experienced when alt+tabbing, and resolves a bug that could prevent the game settings to be saved for some players.
It’s also worth mentioning that a few days ago, 4A Games released a patch that addresses some of the issues that plagued the game’s Microsoft Xbox Game Pass version.

That patch, which was released on June 13th, fixed the sign in procedure issue where consumers were unable to access the game due to different sign ins conflicting, as well as all cloud saving issues where consumers could not launch or run saves (players still need to ensure that they are signed in with an account that is able to access the cloud features so that the saves work as intended).
As always, this latest minor patch will be downloaded by the Epic Games Store the next time you launch its client, and you can find its complete changelog below.

Metro Exodus June 16th Patch for Microsoft Xbox Game Pass Release Notes
Following the launch of Metro Exodus on Xbox Game Pass for PC and the Microsoft Store, some players have experienced issues with saves and loading the game. 4A and Microsoft have worked to fix these issues and a patch is now live which will automatically update when you open your gamepass app.
