No-CD & No-DVD Patch troubleshooting: The most common problem getting a No-CD/No-DVD patch to work is ensuring that the No-CD/No-DVD patch matches you're game version, because the games exe is changed when a patch update is applied previous versions won't work.

Already did the host files trick as well as the cd patch, we both have version 2.20, we also are connected in tuungle, now we did get to somehow. I double dare you to fill this field! Dungeon Siege 2 v2.2 (+8 Trainer). The Dungeon Siege 2 Update 2.2 update patch contains performance enhancements and fixes. It can be applied to the original unpatched version of the game, or a copy of the game patched to 2.1. All fixes from the 2.1 patch are included in this new update. According to Microsoft, the Dungeon Siege 2 Update 2.2.

GameSpy online services have been shut down (see Network for solutions).

Key points

The Broken World expansion is unavailable digitally, and installing it manually on digital versions will significantly decrease the framerate.^[2]

No mouse cursor[edit]

Use a hex-edited executable.^[6]
It makes the camera rotate way too fast when using middle-click in windowed mode.

Use Borderless fullscreen windowed.^[7]
You are also required to run Dungeon Siege 2 in windowed mode by setting the start parameter (via Steam or shortcut) as follows: fullscreen=false To prevent the UI from being almost unusable (see notes), you have to set 'No Size Change' for the game within the Borderless Gaming application. Notes This causes the main menu to use the monitor resolution, making the UI appear in the top-left corner. Furthermore, the UI in-game will be hard to navigate, because cursor position does not fit position of icons.
